It's been a really nice weekend. We went to see Elphaba and Glinda yesterday. They were fabulous, as always. We are already thinking about when we can go to see them again.

Today was the Artist's Studio & Garden tour to benefit the Prairie Art Alliance.
It was such a beautiful day. Seventies, nice breeze, low humidity--couldn't have asked for nicer weather.
This lake home features a bonsai garden, a greenhouse, a potting shed, a ceramic studio with three kilns, a woodworking shop, and a painter's studio. Whew!

The yard is so pretty these days. So much rain has made everything really lush and green. The driveway is another story--so much water they can't even keep their heavy equipment from getting stuck in the mud. I'm hoping by mid-week to show you a nice new driveway and a new porch stoop to go with it.

I've been telling my friend Gail about epimedium lately. Love this combo with the daffodils. After the daffs fade, the epimedium leafs out and it's such a trooper all through the hot months and even into fall. Keeps its green heart-shaped leaves, stands upright and follows my no flopping rule! Good spreading plant, but it's not a thug either.
